Pratiti (Mimi) Bandopadhayay, MBBS, PhD, is a pediatric neuro-oncologist and scientist within the Dana-Farber/Boston Children’s Cancer and Blood Disorders Center, an Associate Professor of Pediatrics at the Harvard Medical School, and an Institute Member of the Broad Institute of MIT and Harvard. She also serves as a faculty member for the Harvard Medical School PhD Program in Biological and Biomedical Sciences (BBS), and as the Director of the DFCI Pediatric Low-Grade Glioma Program. She is an elected member of the Society for Pediatric Research, and of the American Society for Clinical Investigators.
In Australia, Mimi serves as a member of the Research Advisory Committee for The Brain Cancer Center founded by Carrie’s Beanies 4 Brain Cancer, and a member of the Medical Research Advisory Committee for the Australian Cancer Research Foundation.
Mimi and the Bando Lab apply genomic approaches to understand pediatric brain tumors. They are on a mission to find more effective and less toxic treatments for children diagnosed with brain tumors.
