Prof Jooyoung Kim

Professor Jooyong Kim has been treating paediatric patients with proton beam therapy since the establishment of Korea’s first proton therapy facility at the National Cancer Center in 2007. Her primary research interests focus on improving quality of life, neurocognitive functioning, and treatment outcomes for patients with central nervous system germ cell tumours.

Professor Kim has been actively involved in international collaborative research on CNS germ cell tumours across Asia and highly values the opportunity to work closely with multidisciplinary colleagues through the consortium NUGA (NeUroGermcell Asia).
